The Inner Voice | Print |  Email

Meditation teachers provide inner tools that help us become aware of limited patterns. They can reveal many ways to open our chakras and live in light. We then create our own alchemical tools to remain present in difficult situations. We learn to embrace change and love those tortuous moments of letting go.

Thus, an outer teacher can help us quickly find our inner teacher. We learn to find inspiration in every moment and from every person. We learn to flow with our inner voice and ascend into light. When we become our Self, we discover choiceless freedom. Whichever way we go, we are present.

Simply by being aware we find endless ecstasy.

Notice that a confused questioner creates a confused answer. Notice that when you talk back to your inner voices, you engage the mind and enter duality. Simply listen and embrace change.

In the beginning, do not rush around immediately acting on your inner voice. Wait for tingles along your spine. Let magic move your body and inspired reason (silent knowing) guide your mind. The more important the question, the more times you should test your inner voice when you reach various moments of clarity. Then patiently listen and wait for the inspired moment to act.

Before you eat (or buy) food, enter the sacred silence of your soul and ask: Should I eat (or buy) this food? If you are surprised by the answer, relax into the theta state and ask a second or a third time. If the answer is yes, no, yes; or no, yes, no, then you are in a confused state. If you get a clear yes, no, no; or a no, yes, yes, then you probably are accessing the Self the second and third times you ask the question.

It is wise to begin accessing the Self with food choices. When you see that you are improving your mental and physical health, you can begin using this process for other simple things, such as “Should I phone Jane?”

When you forget to tune into your Inner Guidance, or ignore its wisdom, you grow weaker—more disconnected from your Heart. Every time you your look within and gracefully act, you grow in strength and wisdom. Of course, this is a transitional process until you become connected with the Self all day and night. Then you simply flow.

In a state of grace, the question never arises.
You simply know.
